Week 2 Steve Sotelo
I took this last night when Edward and I were in Hollywood. The photo doesn't do the scene justice. I get feelings of calm and isolation. These feelings are simply from the lights themselves. The main source of lighting here is the street lights. These are the newer set of lights that are replacing the old orange lights. I really like this lighting and the range that the separate lights give. I would want to recreate this by scattering several Leko's pointing down so that there are pockets of dark within the beams of light.

Nice! It has almost a twisted "silent night" feeling...at least the street is well lit for Hollywood ;) The headlights in the distance provide a neat forced depth perception too. Almost like a city version of the light at the end of the tunnel saying.
