Week 2 Melanie Martinez
I decided to use this picture I took on my way to San Antonio this past Thanksgiving. Out in the middle of nowhere and how awesome this sunset looked. The colors it created in the sky. Looking at it now, seems like a drawing. How fun it would be to recreate this with stage lights. Some gels I would use are blues, yellow, and orange. Looking at this picture I get a feel of a Halloween night and kids walking through the streets trick-or-treating, but something beyond that is going to happen. Something tragic possibly. I get that feeling just by looking at this picture. Of course that is not what was going through my mind as I was taking the picture.

What a neat sunset picture! Such a clear sky and beautiful gradation of colors! It seems like the line of orange should be even across the sky, but there seems to be a dip, almost like a blue sky road cutting in the middle of it...and there's such a contrast between the silhouetted earth and colorful sky. nice!
