LAST BLOG POST – Ordinary Buildings- by Carla Moreno

        This is a wonderful building that is located near the cemetery church where I live. I really like this picture everything is bright. The sky, the green grass, and the far away palm trees. And the cathedral building that is grey. The sun is bright and very open. The emotional response that I see and feel are PEACEFUL and SUMMER the picture evokes so many things like memories and road trips. This reminds me so much of road trips and seeing things on the side of the road. Passing by the architectures and places that’s exists from within my environment and places people pass by through. I love it! This is amazing because this reminds me of how I also take my environment for granted. I never knew that I could take pictures of wonderful buildings. I have learned a lot in this class that has made take a step back and enjoy beautiful things. I had great pleasure in taking lightning class because I am aware of emotional responses that can be emoted through lightning. Everyday objects and buildings exist in everyday life and I never really noticed them. The fun part is when you re-create all of this when you’re doing theater.

          The emotions are carefree. And the colors to light this would be yellows, blues, and greens that I would use. I liked the carefree emotional response I get when I look at this picture. I also feel that it gives me chills over how ordinary it is when you live your life and you enjoy it. If I were to light this I would use really warm and bright colors on top and then if I would use the lights on the left or ride side they would be tints. Especially because the far way palm trees almost looks blurred and far away.
