This shot was taken at sun down at the VA medical center on wilshire. This shot I would want to think is a an in depth shot with the source of sunlight setting in the west...I see some amber and yellow tones in this light and well the feeling I get from this is a sense of longing because a friend that I worked with long ago, who is a veteran is in the hospital recovering from a stroke and an arterial stent...at the age if 74 I guess I'm lucky that he is doing better now... and not only was visiting him on this day but I was looking into trying to help him sign up for social security because his hard head butt was stuborn not wanting to sign up because he felt it was a sign of weakness.....
This is a great lighting shot! Those long shadows stretching on forever...the different shades and shadows in the rocks/dirt are beautiful! There is a beautiful late afternoon golden sunlight on the actual buildings as well that is just perfect! You can really tell the quality of sunlight from this photo...
